Lindsay Lohan Got Award For Worst Actress

A year after his dream Oscars went up in smoke, Eddie Murphy has not only a consolation prize, but three: Golden Raspberry Awards as worst actor, supporting actor and supporting actress for the comedy "Norbit."

The fourth action "dis-honor" announced Saturday at the Golden Raspberry Awards went to
Lindsay Lohan, which was actually approved two worst-actress trophy for the thriller "I Know Who Killed Me," the worst image-winner in which it played two roles.

"I Know Who Killed Me" Razzies set a new record with eight awards, including worst screen couple with
Lindsay Lohan in his dual role.

Topping the previous record seven Razzies for both "Showgirls" and "Battlefield Earth", "I Know Who Killed Me" also won for worst director (Chris Sivertson), screenwriter (Jeff Hammond), the movie and remake or rip-off (Razzies organizers viewed it as a cross between torture movies such as "Saw" and an update of twisted "The Patty Duke Show").

With his latest exercise in multiple roles, Murphy was the first person to win three Razzies acting in a year. He won as worst actor for the title role geek, arguing that his tubby actress, shrewish woman and as a supporting actor stereotyped Asian man.

Some awards watchers say "Norbit" Murphy cost an Oscar, landing in theaters last year, shortly before the ceremony and potentially unpleasant enough academy voters that the election went against him for "Dreamgirls," for which he has been supporting-actor favorite. Murphy lost at the Oscars, Alan Arkin for "Little Miss Sunshine."

"Part of the reason why the Razzies exist is a mockery of the Academy, which takes too seriously," said Razzies founder John Wilson. "If we had tried to do something to offend some of the average 90-year academy voters, I do not think that they could have done a better job than the wrong mouth, ugly physically, emotionally it laid film unleashed on the world. "

The Razzies ceremony at a magic shop in Santa Monica came one day before the Oscars Sunday, where "Norbit" ironically, was up for best makeup price against "La Vie En Rose" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Up 'at the end of the world ".

Between them, "Norbit" and "I Know Who Killed Me" won all but one of the Razzies.

"We have never had two films are totally dominate, at least not since the heyday of Sylvester Stallone," said Dr. Wilson.

Other prices still have a link Murphy, with more or prequel continued to go to Cuba Gooding Jr. 'S "Daddy Day Camp, a follow-up to Murphy's" Daddy Day Care. "

Lindsay Lohan was nominated twice worst actress, and the vote Golden Raspberry wound up in a tie between its separate roles as a small town girl kidnapped by a psychopath and an alter ego, a stripper missing body parts.

"It is fitting that this is a tie, because at the end of the film, you do not know if it was one person or two people, or are they twins, or are we as mentally ill as a writer and director? "said Mr. Wilson.

In preparation for next year's Razzies, Wilson said he already sees some favorites, including Paris Hilton's recent bomb "The Hottie and the Nottie."

Stallone, the all-time Razzies champion with 30 nominations and 10 wins, dodged the ceremony a year ago after "Rocky Balboa" turned out much better than was expected. The same is not likely to hold true for critically drubbed Stallone's latest opus, "said Wilson.
